Art Creation & Reflection Your Name Chamberlain New Orleans Submission Date The visual art piece that I have chosen from Chapter 1-6 to use as a point of inspiration is the Last Supper that was created by Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo da Vinci began working on this art piece in 1495, and completed the painting around 1498. The painting is currently hanging on the wall of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. In the famous scene, it depicts Jesus and his Apostles sharing a final meal before his death and resurrection. During this meal, Jesus revealed that one of his disciples would betray him and hand him over to the authorities for execution. This betrayer would later be known as Judas.
