COMM 277 Week 3 Course Project; Part 3 - Enacting Communication Change
Week 3 Course Project: Part 3 – Enacting Communication Change Student Name Chamberlain University School of Nursing COMM 277: Interpersonal Communication Dr. Crystal L. Sears July 24th Part 1: Beginning of the Week The challenge I will be working on is that “I don’t know how to speak in front of people.” Usually, it’s not every day where I give presentations but when I do, I get horrible anxiety. I plan to look more professional instead of looking like a fool. I get very sweaty, and I start stuttering my words, which I feel like people don’t take my presentation seriously. I started brainstorming ideas in how I can practice my presentation skills so that when It’s time to do one in school, then I’ll be ready by then. I thought about doing a presentation in front of my family, but I know they won’t take me seriously. Since I am involved at my local church, I decided to give a small presentation about anything at my youth group. I talked to my leader and showed him my plan and told him the reason why I want to do this. I approached him at a time that he wasn’t busy or caught up with any other task. He told me it was a fantastic idea
